Super Duty trucks offer a suite of towing-focused technology that takes some of the guesswork out of hauling. Available Pro Trailer Backup Assist lets you steer a trailer into place with a single knob, while available Pro Trailer Hitch Assist can steer, accelerate and brake the truck into position for hitching on its own. Onboard Scales with Smart Hitch help you keep an eye on payload and tongue weight before you ever pull out of the lot.

The lineup offers the 7.3L V8 gas engine (420 hp / 445 lb-ft of torque) standard on F-250 and F-350, and the available 6.7L High-Output Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel (500 hp / 1,200 lb-ft of torque), which is standard on F-450.*
Payload capacity ranges from about 2,415 to 7,900 lbs depending on configuration. When properly equipped, Super Duty offers a best-in-class maximum available gas payload of 7,900 lbs and a best-in-class maximum available diesel payload of 6,935 lbs.*
Super Duty is available in Regular Cab with an 8-foot bed, SuperCab with a 6.75-foot or 8-foot bed, and Crew Cab with a 6.75-foot or 8-foot bed.
Tow/Haul mode adjusts the transmission’s shift points to hold gears longer for stronger acceleration and climbing power, and it increases engine braking on descents to help maintain control and reduce wear on the service brakes.
Updates for 2027 include new wheel options, the 7.3L gas engine standard across all F-250 and F-350 models, the 6.7L diesel now standard on F-450, a digital rearview mirror on select trims, new paint colors, an updated Tremor Off-Road Package, and the all-new Super Duty Carhartt Package.
