2021 Ford Mach-E

The exciting 2021 Ford Mach-E is available in four trim packages. Drivers can choose from the Select, California Route 1, Premium, and GT. All models include a front trunk, a laminated windshield, windshield wiper de-icer, rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED exterior lights, automatic high beams, and heated exterior mirrors. The Premium and GT trims also include a hands-free, foot-activated power liftgate and acoustic laminated front glass,

The Mach-E lineup includes several modern paint colors, such as Rapid Red, Star White, Dark Matter Gray, Shadow Black, Iconic Silver, and Space White.

Every Mach-E features an electric motor paired to either a standard-range 68 kWh battery or an extended-range 88 kWh battery. Horsepower varies depending on the battery and whether a trim has rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Mach-E GT produces 480 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. The GT Performance Edition produces a whopping 634 pound-feet of torque and can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

The Mach-E has a driving range of 230 to 305 miles depending on the battery installed. Rear-wheel-drive models fitted with the extended life battery provide 305 miles of driving range. The driving range with all-wheel drive drops to 270 miles.

Batteries have fast-charging capability. You can recharge 80% of the battery overnight via a 240-volt home outlet. Batteries are rechargeable at a charging station or via a Ford home charging unit.

Five passengers can fit comfortably in the Mach-E, thanks to the placement of the battery under the cabin floor. The Mach-E provides 29.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat, increasing to 59.7 cubic feet behind the front row. The cargo area has an adjustable load floor to make loading and unloading easy. The front trunk provides an additional 4.7 cubic feet of storage space.

Every Mach-E features a rotary gear shift dial, intelligent access, and push-button start. Available features include customizable ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

Ford's SYNC 4A package is standard on all Mach-E trims. SYNC 4A includes enhanced voice recognition, navigation, a 15.5-inch touch-screen display, satellite radio, wireless charging, USB ports, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot. The infotainment system uses machine learning to create customized experiences for up to three drivers and one passenger. The Premium and GT trims also include a top-of-the-line Bang and Olufsen audio system.

Ford's Mach-E was named a 2021 IIHS Top Safety Pick. Every Mach-E features a rearview camera, intelligent adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, automatic emergency braking, pre-collision assist, and post-collision braking. Other standard features include a forward sensing system, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping system, reverse brake assist, a reverse sensing system, lane centering, speed sign recognition, and intersection assist.

If you are in an accident with airbag deployment, Ford's SOS Post Crash Alert System decreases emergency response time by flashing emergency lights and honking the horn. The Mach-E California Route 1 also includes Ford's BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system.
